HIL (India) Limited, a Government of India enterprise, with the financial support of UNIDO, scaled up and commissioned polyethylene based (HDPE & LDPE) Alphacypermethrin (a.i.) 0.667% w/w incorporated insecticidal net known as Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets . Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs) are a ready to use bed net incorporated with an insecticide for effective protection by keeping away mosquitoes as well as killing them. LLINs also kills or keeps away other nuisance insects like cockroaches, bedbugs, houseflies, fleas, etc. LLINs are strong, durable and will hold up well to everyday use and are wash resistant upto 20 washes and effective for 3 years. HIL’s LLIN is registered with the Central Insecticides Board (CIB) under section 9(3b) of the Insecticides Act 1968.
